Mission Statement
Red Back Mining Inc. holds a 90% interest in the Chirano gold mine located in Ghana and a 100% interest in the Tasiast gold mine in Mauritania . The Company's objectives are to optimize and fully develop its mines and aggressively explore its large prospective land position both countries. Overall, the Company's strategy is to focus on growth of cash flow, production and mineral resources through development of its existing assets and pursuit of acquisition opportunities worldwide.
