| | | Lukas H. Lundin Position: Chairman
Mr. Lundin is known for recognizing value and superior global investment opportunities in the natural resource sector. His uninhibited pursuit of highly prospective properties around the world has resulted in numerous resource discoveries, including the multi-million ounce Veladero gold discovery. Mr. Lundin has also led several companies through highly profitable business acquisitions and mergers such as Lundin Mining's $3.3 billion merger with EuroZinc Mining, and most recently the $2 billion sale of Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. Mr. Lundin is a graduate of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He currently sits on the Board of a number of publicly traded companies.

| | | Richard P. Clark Position: President, C.E.O, Director
Mr. Clark is a lawyer who practiced mining and securities law in British Columbia from 1987 to 1993.For the past ten years Mr. Clark has been a senior executive with the Lundin Group of Companies. In 2004 he became president and CEO of Red Back and under his leadership Red Back has grown into an intermediate gold producer with a production profile growing to over 500,000 oz per annum. Mr. Clark has successfully guided Red Back through all facets of growth including discovery, feasibility, financing and production coupled with successful corporate acquisitions.

| | | Simon Jackson Position: Vice President, Corporate Development
Mr. Jackson is a chartered accountant with 20 years experience in the gold industry. He has been instrumental in the financing and development of the Chirano Gold Project and drove the process through which Red Back became a Canadian company. He was a key member of the Red Back team that financed and completed the acquisition of the Tasiast project in 2007. Mr. Jackson was Red Back's CFO for 8 years to 2007. Prior to joining Red Back in 1999, his experience includes corporate transactions in Australia, Africa and Indonesia. He initially spent eight years with KPMG in Perth, Western Australia.

| | | Alessandro Bitelli Position: Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Bitelli is a chartered accountant with over 25 years of work experience in the resource industry and in public accounting, having worked both in North America and in Europe. Before joining Red Back, Mr. Bitelli worked for Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. a diamond exploration company where he was responsible for all the financial affairs of the company, including the successful completion of a number of financings. Prior to that, he was with a leading international public accounting firm, and two of its predecessor firms. His work covered a wide range of services, including due diligence assignments for the purchase and sale of businesses while servicing a client portfolio of private, public and multinational companies.

| | | Kevin Ross Position: Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Ross is a Mining Engineer with over 30 years experience gained at projects in Africa, Europe and North America. He holds a BSc (Min Eng) from the Royal School of Mines and a MBA from Cranfield. He brings to Red Back a wealth of knowledge in both open pit and underground mining and broad experience in sub level caving.

| | | Hugh Stuart Position: Vice President Exploration
Mr. Stuart is a professional geologist with 20 years of international experience in mineral exploration. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from the University of Manchester and M.Sc. in Mineral Exploration and Mining Geology from the University of Leicester. Mr. Stuart is responsible for the discovery of the +1 million oz Akwaaba Deeps underground deposit at Chirano. As Exploration Manager at the Geita Gold Project in Tanzania, Mr.Stuarts's team discovered the + 7 million oz Nyankanga deposit.

| | | Michael Hunt Position: Director
Mr. Hunt is a partner in Hunt & Humphry, Project Lawyers, Perth, Australia. Mr. Hunt has an international reputation as a mining lawyer and has been involved in the development of many mining projects. Mr. Hunt was founding Chairman of Red Back Mining NL. He has been a director of Red Back since May 2004.

| | | Harry Michael Position: Director
Mr. Michael is a mining engineer with over 18 years operating experience in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Africa. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Michael was C.E.O. of Geita Gold Mining Limited in Tanzania, a joint venture between Ashanti Goldfields Company Limited and Anglogold Limited. Prior to that, Mr. Michael was General Manager of the Ashanti-owned Iduapriem gold mine in Ghana. He has been a director of Red Back since May 2004.

| | | Brian D. Edgar Position: Director
Mr. Brian D. Edgar has been active in public markets for over 25 years. A graduate of the University of British Columbia law school, Mr. Edgar practiced corporate and securities law in Vancouver for 16 years before retiring in October 1992 to establish Rand Edgar Investment Corp., an investment/banking, venture capital company in the business of providing early stage venture capital to high growth companies and in providing advisory services concerning corporate structuring, finance, business strategies, private and public securities offerings and relations with regulatory authorities, lawyers, accountants and technical consultants. Mr. Edgar serves on the Board of a number of public companies. He has been a director of Red Back since August 2005.

| | | Robert F. Chase Position: Director
Mr. Chase is a graduate of the University of Manitoba. Mr. Chase is a resident of West Vancouver, British Columbia and is a financial executive who serves on the boards of a number of other Canadian companies. He has been a director of Red Back since August 2005.

| | | George Brack Position: Director
Mr. Brack's 24-year career in the mining industry working in investment banking and corporate development, has focused on the identification, evaluation and execution of strategic mergers and acquisitions and the provision of equity financing. Mr.Brack was most recently Managing Director and Industry Head, Mining Group of Scotia Capital. Prior to joining Scotia Capital in 2006, he served 7 years as President of Macquarie North America Ltd., an investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions advice to the global mining industry. Previously, Mr. Brack held the position of Vice President, Corporate Development at Placer Dome Inc., worked for CIBC Wood Gundy, where he was a Vice President of the Investment Banking Group and worked in Rio Algom's corporate development department. Mr. Brack started his career as an exploration geologist with Sherritt-Gordon Mines. Mr. Brack holds an MBA from York University, a BASc in Geological Engineering from the University of Toronto and the CFA designation. George serves as a director of Alexco Resource Corp. (and is a member of the audit committee and the compensation committee). Mr. Brack's extensive experience in both completing and advising on merger and acquisition opportunities will be of considerable experience to Red Back as it continues on with its accretive growth strategy.
