Red Back Mining Inc., a member of the Lundin Group of Companies, is a publicly held resource company based in Vancouver, Canada. The Company is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "RBI". Red Back's principal asset is the Chirano Gold Project located within the prolific Bibiani gold belt in Ghana, West Africa. Gold production commenced in the fourth quarter of 2005. The Company has additional exploration projects and significant landholdings in Ghana both in proximity and along strike from Chirano and elsewhere in Ghana.
